Privacy policy

What we collect

Your designs: the room, the cabinets, your answers and your messages to Hexa, saved under an anonymous or email sign-in.
Ask Hexa chat: your questions and the answers, linked to a random visitor id in your browser and, if you use Hexa while signed in, to your account.
Contact details you give us when you ask a designer to contact you (name, phone or email, and why).
Technical facts: approximate city and region, device type, language, time zone and which steps you used. We look up the city from your IP address on our own server and do not keep the address.

Why

To answer you, to make your design and quote, to contact you if you ask, to keep the service safe, and to learn from patterns across many people (for example which questions come up most) without names or contact details.

How long

Ask Hexa chats are deleted after 30 days, or after one year if you asked a designer to contact you. Your saved designs stay until you ask us to delete them.

Who handles it for us

Service providers that host the app, provide sign-in, and run the AI models that write Hexa's answers. Your text is sent to the AI provider to produce an answer. We do not sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to withdraw your consent, by contacting the person in charge of privacy: [name and email to be filled in by the shop]. If you are in Quebec you also have the rights described in the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

Children

Hexa is for people 18 or older. If someone tells the chat they are under 18, the chat stops and keeps nothing about that message.
